Training Options

Thanks to everyone who got involved in last Sundays Social Marathon it was a great day out, special mention for Dom and Di, Dom started to see how he went for the first 10k, then carried onto the end and broke his marathon duck. And Di who ran like a champion and knocked over 3 mins off her half marathon PB. My favourite quote on strava was "actually enjoyed a marathon"


So with that in mind Wednesday's training has two options, a steady run for anyone wanting to take it easy and recover. Or for the rest of us 12 x 400m intervals with 200m recovery.


We will be running down by river so if you have got one, bring a headlamp and wear hi-vis. Meet up at 18:30 under skeldergate bridge where we will carry out some drills before the main session starts. Hope to see you there.

It should be mandatory to have a hotdog checkpoint in every race. I want to see them at the 10K Summer League and 5K in you've got to stop and get a hotdog down, or 3 in my case. I was bloody hungry
