From Russia with love

Good morning from Yartsevo in Russia, a small town just east of Smolensk. Another town that chooses to use public spaces to demonstrate the size of their.....tanks!

Yartsevo is 234 miles from Red Square so 2-3 days more running and walking for Team Minster Inn before the finish party can begin. The big mileage for Mini Inn yesterday came from Andy with 15, Rachel with 13, DGB and Chris B with 10 each and some bloke called Middleton with 11. It was lovely to see Andy H and Mark Thommo whilst completing those miles.

Team Pocket to Socket are tracking their rivals in a manner which is not helping their case! For the second day on the trot they have spent the night in the same location that Mini Inn were in 24 hours earlier. The gap has closed marginally to 189 miles thanks to some big numbers from Danny with 18, Elliot 10, Andrew H-J 12, Marc 17, Dee 13, Emily 13 and a monster effort from Jonathan with 26. Same again today P2S?!

This has left P2S in Berezino, another town fond of their tanks as you saw on yesterday's report.

P2S have 423 miles to go to Red Square.

We are going to go for Thurs night at 6.30 for the finish party. Here is the link to the Zoom party:

If you are on a laptop then you should just be able to click on the link and it will take you straight through. Make sure your webcam and microphone are both enabled. Smartphone users will need to download the Zoom app first. Don't forget your beers.
