Clayton clocks up a podium finish

One thing that has never been in doubt is one of the strengths of a Postal Harrier. Character, and plenty of it. Danny Clayton took on the Ingleborough Trail Marathon and earned himself an incredible 3rd place finish. Many of you will know that beautiful area of the Dales and know that there ain’t much that‘s flat round there. We’re proud of you Danny.

Over on the coast we had Dave Cook taking on the Ravenscar half marathon through a landscape he will know like the back of his hand. Dave’s run report on Facebook suggests he had an eventful day. We hope the tumbles didn’t do much damage Dave.

It’s great up north

Well done to the three Posties taking on the legendary GNR on Sunday. Andy Heather was first back in 1:39:14. Looking good for a bash at sub 3:30 around the streets of York next month. Hannah Smithson

A first class weekend

Plenty of evidence of YPH runners in action over the weekend. We had 20 runners taking part in 7 different parkrun events. Ian just missed out on a podium finish by 21 seconds at the Allerthorpe Triat
