Busy weekend for Postal - UPDATED

Updated: Jul 3, 2019

Great to see so many Posties out running this weekend. I’m pretty sure I’ve hunted every result down but there’s always one. Sorry if I’ve missed yours. I did miss one - massive well done to Jonathan Richardson for completing the Lakeland 55K Ultra. Plenty of ups and downs in that one and a great effort, well done that man.

Read on in to find out how our three Endure runners got on. Multiple laps of five miles over a 24 hour period in that sun! There’s another huge PB for Deanna, lowering her parkrun PB by 36 seconds. We had a 2nd place finisher at New Earswick, well done Marc. We also had Lucy taking on the Harrogate 10K on her 40th birthday. And yes, there was fancy dress.

I can clearly recall my excitement back in 2012 when I first heard the news that a marathon would be coming to the streets of our city and surrounding countryside. Maybe it was all in the planning, c
