Wednesday Training

Training is on as usual this week meeting at the Minster Inn at 18:30 as usual. We will be lead by a guest Leader this week in our dynamic and progressive stretching before heading down to St Peters Field. The main session will be Indian line speed work. We will split into groups of similar speed: fast; faster; fastest and keeping 3-5m gap run the usual circuit at conversational pace for that group. Each runner will then sprint to the front 5 m ahead of the lead runner at 9/10 effort and repeat from the back. Session should last c. 35 mins. Focus this week is getting up onto the front of your foot during the burst of speed and driving forward from hips and back with arms (S2P). Static stretching to finish with 12 secs holds.
