Thought there was gonna be a steward's enquiry

So you're sat there, quite satisfied that your team are on the home straight and then.... You get a message from one of the big hitters on the rival team. It's Danielle. Not logged miles all week. Has she been injured? No is the answer but she's keen to catch up with what she's been doing. This could be bad news I think. The numbers start coming through. It's like election night.

They were good numbers but, as you will see from the charts, it hasn't made too sizeable a dent in Mini Inn's lead.

A relatively quiet down on the virtual roads yesterday, probably a by product of the rain. Mini Inn got back to winning way with 87 miles v 69 from P2S.

Mini Inn have finished with coastline for now and are heading cross country from Carlisle to Berwick Upon Tweed. It's then a slog down through the gorgeous Northumberland coastline and ultimately back into the Garden of Eden otherwise known as Yorkshire.

P2S are back in one of my favourite cities, Liverpool and are being shown round the city by their very own Katie. Good luck keeping those lot on the straight and narrow Katie.

Here's Carlisle in all its err splendour?

And the much nicer Albert Dock and Liverpool waterfront.
