The Wolds in a Day or Tad in Ten

You're going to have to go some tomorrow to knock Jo off prime billing in the weekly report. Those were the words I uttered to Dom & Jim as I left parkrun on Saturday morning. They had a damn good go to be fair.

Only one place to start really. 8am Humber Bridge, Saturday morning. Ahead lay the Wolds Way, 80 ish miles to Filey going in a bit of a C shape via the likes of Londesborough, Goodmanham, Millington, Thixendale, Wharram Percy, Wintringham, Ganton and then the seaside.

All you've got to do is make sure you get to Filey by 8am on the Sunday and job done! If only it were that easy. It was the 3rd Hardwolds Way and 3 Posties had entered before and successfully completed so no pressure on Jo then.

We were marshalling at Millington Village Hall, a mere 33 miles in and Jo was just warming up at that point. She arrived with a wide smile on her face, troughed her Tesco ready meal and headed back on her way again. Several hours ahead of the cut off time and looking in good nick. To be fair, most of the field of 125 looked good at that point with only a handful of DNF's prior to Millington.

After that we were left to dot watch on the tracker and it was fantastic to see Jo finishing in Filey in a time of 20:26:21. By my reckoning that makes you the Postal course record holder and very well done for clocking up yet another ultra finish.

Meanwhile, just as Jo was getting to bed we had four chaps taking on the Tad 10 miler. Leading them home was Dom in a very impressive time of 1:03:44 with Jim not too far behind in 1:05:29 followed by Andy 1:13:28 and Mark D 1:18:23. Well done gents!

On Friday evening we had Kev taking part in the 5K race at York Sports Village, finishing in 22:31 and the results tells me you won your age category as well so congrats Kev!

I think that just leaves Saturday's parkrun roundup so here you go:

Armley - Jamie 22.01

Bath Skyline - Harriet 25.41

Hes - Phil R 28.46

Uddersfield - Alex 21.01

Millfield - Patrick 21.40

New Earswick - Rich H 27.01

York - Dom 19.37, Jim 19.58, Simon 20.20, Danny 21.09, Andy 22.03, Mel 22.32, Karen 30.49, Lucy 34.00

Plenty of Strava evidence of Posties running and walking all over the country so well done all. Hope you all have a great week.
