Postal in Paris

Sat here in the Paris sunshine wondering if we had any winners on the virtual Grand National yesterday. I saw Mr Partridge suggesting on FB that he may have won a £ or two, well done to you. Also sat here wondering what we would have been up to on this fine Sunday morning. Ben would have no doubt been out pounding the streets doing some last minute fine tuning ahead of the London Marathon later this month. It may well have been part of a large crowd joining in for Andy's social Sunday run, their numbers being swelled by the lovely weather.

Whatever you're up to, I hope you're all well. Yesterday felt like a long day. There's only so many weeds you can dig out of the soil before you've had enough. For you football fans out there, I spent a fine hour mid afternoon watching old World Cup matches on the BBC. Denmark v Uruguay from Mexico 86 when the Danes put 6 past the hapless South Americans. Also saw the French beating Argentina 4-3 in Russia 2018, a classic match.

Speaking of the French, we've made it to Paris. P2S have stretched their lead and are 231 miles into the leg and find themselves in St Denis, home of the Stade de France. Mini Inn are still in central Paris and are alongside the Seine, 219 miles in.

Next stop Brussels.
