Pocket to Socket Lovin the Wild West

Only 19 miles in it yesterday but Team Pocket to Socket are proving they are loving the off road stuff. They are the running version of a Land Rover, racking up 124 miles in the day compared to 105 from Team Minster Inn.

P2S are closing in on the border with New Mexico and have camped overnight in the Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. Looks amazing guys and your trail runners will be in heaven.

Mini Inn are 88 miles behind and on the edge of the same forest in the town of Globe. This place is reminiscent of a wild west movie, so much so that the team spent the evening drinking in the local saloon before the Sheriff and his men came to usher them home.

To put the 88 mile gap into context, if all the Mini Inners did an extra 3 miles that gap would be gone. Sounds big but it's wafer thin and there's over 2000 miles to go.

That's it for today everyone, enjoy your running and walking and I hope you time it right and avoid the rain showers.
