We've been contacted by Peter Lowton, joint organiser of the Rangers Ultra events. He tells us we had a Harrier take part in one of his events last year, I'm guessing that means Dee, Dave or Jo. Anyway, he's been in touch about his latest event. Here's the details if you're interested.
We had a person from your club on one of our Ranger Ultras events last year. I am writing to you to see if any other members may be interested in joining one or more of our events this year.
We have introduced a fourth ultra event, the PB57, that will take place on the 13th April 2019. The route follows the Pennine Bridleway from Middleton Top Car Park to Hayfield Cricket Club. It is a relatively easy navigable route with a couple of Check Points along the way supplying Drinks and snacks to racers. GPX files of the route will be given to participants once enrolled.
There is a generous cut off time and medals will be given to all finishers. There is ample car Parking in Hayfield and transport is provided from the race HQ to the start point.
