Club Captains

Many of you know that three of our club captains have recently stood down so before I move on, many thanks from everyone at the club to Dee, Deanna and Jason for your efforts in helping our new members feel welcome to the club. Your support for our lovely club has been first class.

This means we now have three club captain vacancies. We would ideally like one more chap to join Andy as Mens Captain and then two of our ladies to be our Ladies Captains.

So how does it work? The main role of a Club Captain is to be a point of contact at our club sessions on a Weds and Sun. This involves keeping an eye out for new members and welcoming them into the YPH family. In addition to that you're there to listen to any ideas that members put forward and feed them back into the committee.

We would love to fill these roles asap so if you have any queries I'm sure Andy would gladly have a chat or just email into us if you'd like to put yourself forward for one of the roles (simonmidd73@sky.com) If we are inundated with offers then we may need to put it to a vote but we'll cross that bridge if we come to it.

The role of club captain is open to any member but ideally someone who attends club nights regularly.
