As we move ever closer to the beginning of the Summer Road Race League 10K’s, tomorrow’s session is geared around running up and down those lumpy things – yes, you’ve guessed it, hills! We will start with dynamic stretches at the Minster Inn at 18:30 before heading out towards Water End and Windmill Rise.
Core session will look at the technique of hill running, including the downhill segments as well as up. There will be plenty of opportunity to practice on the inclines that York has to offer. The session is appropriate for all runners irrespective of speed and preferred distance, as improved technique will be augmented by strength and speed benefits.
We will jog back to the Minster Inn for static cool down recovery stretches.
