Sticky!

In a few words, evo-stick.

Yep, 29 Happy and hungry Harriers trained last night. A wonderful sight and thank you for continuing to support our small but lovely running club.

As ever, Coach Mark had designed a brute. The pyramid. It was hard on the way up, hard on the peak and harder on the way down. Everyone emptied their tanks. A joy to see. The lady athletes are flying. Amy, Deanna, Di, Sophie, Rachel, Carol and Helena ran beautifully. All demonstrated the running form so encouragingly coached by Mark. Think Mark, think Pocket to Socket.

It was great to see Tom after his adventures in the Lake District. He is now a social media star and signed copies of his famed video clippage. If you have not been training for a while, please try and do so. We are running and having fun and we want you to be part of our happy vibe.

There are so many runners in great nick at the moment. I’m hoping your hard miles are repaid with some great performances in the autumn running campaign. Accepting that running is not all about PBs, our togetherness is growing stronger. It was warming to see how many Members buddied up to help one another. A tight bond, just like glue.

And finally, a well deserved shout out to our recently appointed club captains. They go about their business with burning passion and discretion. They are doing a marvellous job on your behalf. Listening to views and shaping our club to be the best it can possibly be. Thank you Andy, Deanna, Dee and Jason.

Remember you are the lucky ones. You have the undivided support from your fellow runners. Run happy, be happy.

Take care

DGB
