Ladies Run

Greetings, fellow Harriers!

We all know the magic of YPH: Small but mighty, we're a fun, inclusive running club capable of throwing down down pints and PBs in equal measure. Whether its out on the track or in our daily lives, the support and encouragement we give to one another knows no bounds. We're an unparalleld community. A ride-or-die tribe. We are, truly, stronger together.

Our men know this. Our ladies know this. But we want even more local women to know and be a part of the YPH community as well. So starting in May, we will proudly be launching a Postal Ladies Run. Friendly, fierce and fun, the Ladies Run will give current and potential female members a chance to come together, catch up, run a steady 5K and revel in our YPH comaraderie. In doing so, we hope to share and grow our infectious enthusiasm for YPH and create an even stronger ladies team--which ultimately--makes all of us stronger.

The first Ladies' Run will be Monday, the 6th of May, and on the first Monday of each month after that. Like our Wednesday training, we'll meet at the Minster Inn at 6:30pm for our signature, group dynamic stretches before heading off--and like most Wednesdays, we’ll also most likely uphold our tradition of a post-run pub natter. True to our YPH ethos, no one is 'too slow' and no one will be left behind. That's just not our style.

The best part? Everyone can help us get the word out! Your friend that’s run a few parkruns? Your newly relocated work colleague that wants to meet a group of strong, supportive women? GET ‘EM DOWN. Not only is this a fun night for our existing members; it’s also a great opportunity for new members to take the first step, find out more, build their confidence and see for themselves why YPH is the best club going. I know it. You know it. We know it. Now let's share it.

Your Ladies’ Co-Captains,

As you may know I have suggested setting off from different places for the Sunday social, but this week we will start from the racecourse. But we will be doing a route that we haven't done before. h
